Biography

Born Phillip Kamuntolo, Raised in Malawi but Currently Residing in South Africa, Nyasa Kid started his music Career during his primary school days where he was singing in a choir and was the Choir Master. He released his first studio Single in 2016. His Biggest inspiration came from Nas, Incyt, Cyclone and Blakjak. "This are the guys I grew up listening to and I was at the same school with Blakjak and Cyclone so I had time to learn a lot from their Craft". Nyasa Kid Has just released a new Single called "Nanga Bwanji" which was recorded at Durban Bars Records. The song talks about people who steal other people's Ideas and make a song out of them. Other Songs that were recorded by Nyasa Kid are "Kanga" and "Am Sorry". Both songs are Done in Dancehall but he can also do Hip Hop. His ambition is to work with Winky D from Zimbabwe and Malinga Mafia and Blakjak from Malawi.
