Dismus Louis Moyo is a Malawian Afro Fusion artist born on 18 July 1995 in Maera, T/A Mlumbe, Zomba District. The first born in a family of three children, he grew up in Maera, where he attended Maera FP School and later Maera CDSS. He went on to study Philosophy at Kachebere Major Seminary, Accounting at Nasawa Technical College, Programming at NACIT in Blantyre, and Education through the University of Malawi's UCE programme.
Moyo developed an interest in music during childhood, influenced by his grandmother who was fond of singing. He started making his own music in 2013 and began recording in 2018. He also sang in the church choir at Kachebere Major Seminary. His musical style is a fusion of singing and rap, with songs performed in Chichewa and English. His musical influences include the late Thomas Chibade, the late Lucius Banda, Provoice, and Patience Namadingo.
Moyo released a single “Zatheka” before releasing “SULI”, his second official single, on 11 September 2026. Produced by Status, the song was written and recorded by Moyo in Lilongwe. Although his music career is only beginning to gain public attention, Moyo plans to continue making music as a way of sharing positive messages and encouraging hard work, confidence, peace, love and generosity.
