Daa Uya The Poet

Biography

Daa Uya, is a Malawian musician who hails from Kamwendo 2 Village, Traditional Authority Kwataine in Ntcheu District. His real name is Frank Aaron Dauya . He went to Chiole and Gumbu Primary Schools from where he did his secondary education at Gowa and Ntcheu. He went on to study Business Management and Computer Engineering in which he obtained Diplomas. He developed the interest in music from a very young age only that he didn't have a chance to record the songs he's been writing ever since. Despite being a musician , Daa Uya also happens to be a poet, with an album titled, "I am a Malawian" which also happens to be the title of his soon-to-be published book. His music is therapeutic and self-motivating and encouraging listeners who keep trusting in God even when life doesn't make any sense. This 2023, Daa Uya has released a new song titled "Tsamira" and he promised to bring more music as two he has already recorded two songs In His Free time, Daa Uya Likes to read books and write whatever comes into his mind.
