Biography

Chancy Tembo, also Known as Chan Tembo in the music circle was born in 1985 in Mzuzu city. He had shown some music interests during his early child hood life and grew up loving music. In 2011 the interest for music grew and he started recording some songs with local producers in Balaka where he was working with Balaka district hospital. The efforts to release his first album proved futile and the journey for his music career almost came to a dead end in 2013 due to studies and work schedules. Chantembo’s music ranges from afro pop, R n B and reggae music. He has recently revamped his interests in music and currently working on recording an album. He has recorded a few songs with renown producers like MACIA the rhythm boy. He has since released a single from the upcoming ulbum called Slow. Currently based in Lilongwe city and working with Health based non-governmental organization.
