Biography

Alex K Gondwe, born on January 23, 1990, at Rumphi Hospital in Rumphi, Malawi, is a gifted gospel artist and the firstborn in a family of four. From a young age, Alex discovered his passion for music, beginning his journey as a member of his local CCAP church choir, where he continues to sing and inspire his community. Alex’s musical career began to take shape in 2017 with the release of his first single. Though it didn’t achieve widespread recognition, he remained dedicated to his craft. His perseverance paid off in 2024, when he released five songs that resonated with audiences and marked a significant milestone in his career. In 2025, Alex released Bwana Ndi Yesu, a powerful gospel song that has become his signature hit and solidified his place in the Malawian gospel music scene. Hailing from Rumphi, Bolero, Alex K Gondwe continues to use his music to uplift spirits and spread messages of faith, hope, and inspiration.
