VICTORY, full name ‘Victor A. Njewa’, grew up mostly in a number of townships in Blantyre. He first showed his passion for music at the age of 7 when he started developing his interest in listening to music. This passion later unearthed his musical talent when he joined secondary school in 2010. At this time, he would only do music for fun as he had not yet clearly defined his direction. He embarked on his serious musical journey in 2018 when he released a single entitled ‘Christ Is the Answer’. He then released ‘My Story’,’Nzafuula’ and ‘Tsogolo’ in 2019 and 2020, respectively. ‘‘Being a believer and a Christian, I believe God created each one of us for a purpose to fulfil here on earth. It is for this reason that I pursue this musical talent for I am quite confident that it is one of my passions and purposes’’, he says. His messages are centred on spiritual and positive inspirations. He says his inspiration comes from every individual or group making great impact in people’s lives, be it in music or in any setting where messages of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are being preached and where positive issues affecting people are being disseminated. “Music has always been the greatest part of me and it is my desire and conviction to share this part of me with others through the messages that I preach”, he emphasises. Victory resides in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu.
