Saiba

Singer-songwriter SAIBA is a reggae and Afro-pop musician based in Lilongwe, originally from Blantyre, Malawi. Saiba's music career started at the age of 12 when he joined a church choir. After realizing he could sing differently compared to other artists, in 2014 he began composing his own songs. However, it took some years for him to fully pursue his music career. In 2022, Saiba went to CL TOUCH studio in Lilongwe, where he started studio sessions with his producer Viwe Chibwana. The first song he recorded was the gospel track "AMANDIKONDA," followed by "Loser." These were singles he released in 2022 before the release of his album titled "CHOONA." Saiba is currently an independent artist and has not yet signed with a label.
