Sagonjah

Sydney Zulu, known as Sagonjah, is the former lead MC of Blantyre-based hip hop band Concerto Grosso. Sagonjah is widely lauded for his delivery style, complex lyricism and politically aware content - also known as The Chichewa Rap God. He is most noted as a solo artist on Third Eye’s “Mmene Zilili” and “Game Zikwanje”. Sagonjah released his first album “Poyela” as a solo artist in 2015. His influences are a combination of his upbringing, and musically, Tarick (Young Generations) and the Reggae Legend Evison Matafale
