Rat Killer

Rat Killer (real name Charles Moses Kashoti) is a Malawian dancehall artist currently based in CapeTown, South Africa. Born in 1987, Rat Killer started having interest in music in 2004 at the age of 17 in the township of Chilobwe in the city of Blantyre, Malawi. In 2011 he left Malawi for South Africa to pursue his music career where he met Zimbabwean producer, Trigger of Boom Squad Studios in 2012 and with him he recorded four songs. In January, 2017 he decided to go independent and set up his own label named Lectures Records, and has recorded six songs with the label. All tracks were produced by a South African producer, Khino.
