Mtaba

Mtaba is a Malawian rapper based in Lilongwe City. His real name is Lumbani Mkandawire. He was born on August 15, 2000. Mtaba started making music in 2016, while staying at Mvera in Dowa, when he gained access to a studio owned by his friend, who had some recording equipment. Initially hesitant about rapping, Mtaba was encouraged by his friends to give it a try, and he eventually found success. Throughout his music career, Mtaba has collaborated with various artists, including Dick-T, Wiz D, and Vitu. He was formerly part of a music crew called Mulla Gansters, which included Felix, Trey Cee, and Dick T. In 2022, Mtaba released two tracks: "Ndinali Ndani," a love song, and "Umasiye Si Mathero" featuring King Vybz.
