Konechali

Konechali is a Malawian hip hop artist from Ntcheu, currently based in Mulanje. His real name is Gerald Cornelius Chalira born on 20th September 2000, Konechali started doing music in 2013 and recorded his first song, Mundikhululukire, in 2018 with Natural Teacher (NT). Konechali Started music after being inspired by international artist Lecrae and local artists like Suffix and Mista Gray. Konechali’s music is rooted in real-life experiences and faith, blending lyrical storytelling with powerful messages. He graduated from LUANAR – Bunda Campus in 2024 with a degree in Agroforestry. Outside of music, he enjoys spaghetti with well-cooked beans and supports Chelsea Football Club. .
