King David B Kachala Phiri, real name Mofolo B Kachala Phiri is a Malawian gospel artist from Ulongwe in Balaka. King David was born in a Christian family of 8. He was inspired to do gospel music by 1, JIMMY D PSALMIST from Nigeria ,FISTON MBUYI from Congo, Locally Mau K, Allan Chirwa, Limbani Simenti, King James Phiri and Clara Rejoice Nguluwe. King David recorded his first track titled SENZANI MTANDA years ago but did not do well. He later decided to release an album titled 'Ndi Wa Moyo'. This year, he is back with a new track titled SANDIDSIYE.
