Kay Tie

Kitha Wetfore Andrew A.K.A Kay Tie is an aspiring upcoming musician who started rapping and singing in 2014. He was first inspired by Nelly in the early 2000s to start listening to hip hop music, then co-inspired by a local rapper Gwamba to start listening to local hip hop. He was Born in 1998, 18th of July at a village birth centre of Nyami village in Chitipa. He is the fourth born in a family of 5 children. Wetfore Did his secondary school at Chaminade Secondary School in Karonga and is currently at the Polytechnic University doing his bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) in Blantyre. Kay Tie is one of the few musicians in Malawi who is able to do different genres without difficulties, namely hip hop, RnB, Afrobeats and dancehall. His favorite meal is Nsima and Okra. He is working on his first album "Wasala Wasala".
