John Zaife

John Zaife was born in march 12,1986 at Ngabu rural hospital in Chikwawa.I am the 6th born out of eight children in my family(lost two). My full name is Yohane Joseph Sigalete.My father was Group village headman Misongwe,Traditional Authority Ngabu.Unfortunately,he died in 2015 due to illness.My talent as a singer was identified when he was young.Church choirs, praise teams and Scom helped me to devep more skills of singing.Teachers at school also encouraged me to work hard in both academic and music carreer. By then I did not have access to join any band group due to lack of enough information.I did not stop composing and writing songs even during bad circumstances.Nothing good comes without challenges.Most of influential people made their way successfully after experiencing various hindrances.It is difficult nowadays when almost every step to go require how one stands financially.This how I went through,having being born in a poor family. My parents could do all they can to support me.My father was raising pigs and goats and spending most of his time in a crop farm(may his soul rest in peace).Sometimes,my mother could brew kachasu and doing piece works to pay for my school fees. After completing secondary school in 2006,I started working before making it to college.I became an employee to cargil cotton company.I also worked with Hippo view lodge as cashier.Due to other circumstances,I resigned from my work to join teaching service as a primary school teacher since 2013.I was one of pioneer of Machinga Teachers Training College, graduated in 2012. In July 29,2020 it is when I released my first gospel album;Mulungu wamayankho'produced by Adams Douglas of Demaxy studio in Balaka.Most of the songs in this album were composed and written some years back. The main message is all about the kingdom of God.And' Mulungu wamayankho' is specifically a prayer for forgiveness from God.Before we ask for everything ,we need to seek His mercies.The Bible says if we say that we do not sin,we are cheating ourselves and in us there is no truth.Indeed, God is our answer in everything.
