Essim

Essim is a Malawian, Lilongwe based hip hop Artist. One of the Founders of Sungununu Hip hop trio. His music is a fusion of western rap and African traditional music and mostly raps in vernacular language (Chichewa)

Essim, who has been active in the music scene since 2007, has released a number of singles such as the popular Dobadoba and Ndaledzela (2010) and has also made some appearance in tracks such as Sungununu's  Akuseka, Sanje and Dominant One’s Osadanda.

The hip hop artists is also prominent Film maker and graphics designer in Malawi.
