Don Tarz

Don Tarz, real name Pilirani Francis Nyanja is a Best Live Act Award winner (2021), Song writer , Recording Artist , well known as the "Stage Master" because of his energetic and top class stage performances. He started a professional solo music career in September 2013. Linked up with Warge Phiri of Warge Records and recorded several songs on Warge Riddims including Zalero , Anapitadi, Sumadziwa, Ushasha ,Ahedi and many more dancehall songs. In 2016 he recorded his number 1 show destroying song "Waaah" at Marvelous Records (Zupah B) on the ZimDancehall Focus Riddim produced by Dj Fydale. Other well known songs are Don Nganga, Mowa , Mzungu, Kamodzi, Bodza , Alfandika, Pa Window . He has performed at almost all the major venues in Malawi and has shared the same stage with all the Top Artists in Malawi and also with some international artists including. Christopher Martin, Gramps Morgan, Makhadzi, AKA, Master KG, Yo Maps , Luciano, Turbulence, Everton Blender, Mr P, Joe Boy, B1, Heavy K, Vigro Deep, Shekkinah, Chimzy Kelly, Kenyatta Hill, Organised Family, General Kanene... In 2021 he completely massacred Sand Music Festival with his exceptional performance.He has also performed at Tumaini Festival, Mafunyeta Memorial show,Blantyre street Bash ,Lilongwe street Bash, LIFEST, Sound and Light Concert, Jahkings Reggae Festival, Matafale memorial show, Mathumela Festival, Lilongwe End of Year Festival, and at all the Major Universities in Malawi... In 2022 he gave a historical half time performance at Bingu National Stadium at the Region 5 Games 2022 (South Africa vs Zambia Finals Match). He remains one of the most powerful stage performers alive in Malawi.
