Desire

Desire (born Khumbo Manda) is a Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (Guitar, bass and piano). Started loving music and singing at a young age but eventually learnt playing the guitar at Chaminade Secondary School way back in 2006 and did a lot of songwriting around 2010. Once contested in the 2015 E-Wallet Talent show. Finished in the top 8 of the competition. A sound of Freedom is one the songs of his upcoming album. Apart from "A sound of Freedom", he also has another single called "Dango Lakuruska". His music has been influenced by the likes of Wambali Mkandawire, Faith Mussa, Sam Mjura Mkandawire on the local scene. Also inspired by other Musicians outside the country like Jonathan Butler, Loyiso Bala, Lira,Getrude Sephuma, Afrotraction, Richard Bona, Lokua Kanza and many others. His music is there to bring hope and salvation of the Lord.
