Amaritili 77

Amaritili 77 Is duo music band made up of music addict Edgar Solomon and Oyamba jimjim. The Blantyre based music band was started in 2014 with the name Amaritili band with 5members. After a slight silent Oyamba jim jim and Edgar Solomon decided to revive the group but with a new name called Amaritili77. The mame Amaritili77 means (martyrs) is because it is believed that they are fighters, and are torch bears for our fellow friends. Amaritili 77 focuses on given hope to the youth and speaks out to the voiceless youth in the ghetto community. Amaritili 77 plays Nyasa jazz type of music which also similar to afro jazz music.
