Born on 05 July 1996 at Nkhotakota District hospital,Shaffie Juma Banda alias 96 Ranka is a Reggae and dancehall artist hailing from Malunda village, Traditonal Authority Mphonde in Nkhotakota district. Started doing music since his childhood but started recording music in the year 2016 and formed a music group known as C.G.K Music with a friend Issah Smith Kamanga a.k.a Somestory. He took a small break from music but came back in the industry in 2021. Later in 2022 he started his own label named Rankanation Music till present.
