Biography

Who is Maggie Alinane Msowoya? Maggie Born on 3rd December is a Malawian gospel singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Lilongwe Malawi but currently based in mzuzu and has been singing since she was young. Maggie Alinane started by leading worship in church (Assemblies of God then ) and at school functions. She currently goes to RFP Raised for a Purpose Ministry and thanks her pastor Pastor Aubrey for the platform created through Music and Arts ministry. Her musical career began to take off when she decided to go solo into releasing in 2013. Her first album CHIYEMBEKEZO CHANGA was released in 2014 and the video was of the same was released in 2016 and her songs enjoy massive play in many radio and tv stations. Maggie released another albums SWEET HOLY SPIRIT in 2018 whose video got released in 2020 and the title track Sweet Holy Spirit has become a national anthem of many that love her touch. Now Maggie is here with her third album to be released in March 2024 as she is releasing singles now to make up the album and some of the songs include Progress, Glorious, Father and My Everything you are being released today. Maggie has performed in alot of musical shows since her career started and has made alot of connections with other reowned musicians and through music she has become one of Trainers of COSOMA a board that looks into copyright issues in the art industry. I chose the style of my music because i wanted to be different and authentic.
