Biography

Jahwill, born Lil Precious Kadzilange, is a Malawian reggae and dancehall artist based in Lilongwe. Known for his smooth and conscious sound, Jahwill blends gentle reggae rhythms with dancehall energy to create music that speaks to everyday life, love, and social realities. He began his music journey in 2014, driven by a deep passion for music and storytelling. Over the years, he has been developing his unique style, drawing inspiration from real-life experiences and the vibrant culture of Malawi. Outside of music, Jahwill lives a grounded and relatable life. He works as a taxi driver, mainly operating as a minibus driver, based in Area 25B, Lilongwe. This daily interaction with people from different walks of life continues to shape his lyrics and keeps his music authentic and connected to the community. Jahwill is also known for his simple and healthy lifestyle. He follows a vegetarian diet, with a strong preference for beans, reflecting discipline and conscious living that aligns with his reggae roots. With his humble background and growing musical journey, Jahwill represents the voice of the everyday Malawian, using music as a tool to inspire, uplift, and connect.
