Gift James, stage name Jeem Kay is a hip-hop artist born in 1998 originally from Balaka. He started music in 2015 influenced by Mwanache's skill of rap. He seriously embarked on music journey in 2018 and as of now he's the CEO of Mitunda Muzic Label. Hisnmusic associates are the likes of Damzy Cee , Oyimbochilz, Sammy Deezy and others. In 2022. he released the song "Akalemba" which was well received by many and helped to build his name. In 2023, he's back with a new song titled "Eti Ndikwatile" which has a supporting artist Oyimbochilz and has been produced by Dallie Beats and Dav Gee.
