Biography

This is an independent group that was found by Mr. Dan Giovanni Mkwezalamba (Genii Blakk) and Mr. Brave Mkandawire. The group consists of “The UnderGz” and what is called DMG As the “League Of Extraordinary Emcees” including Genii Blakk, Jhon O’ Dreams, El Mind, Ametak, Comrade And Lady Spotless. Direct Muzik Group (DMG) is currently working on releasing its first EP this year which features all its members and they have a single out entitled “If It Ain’t About Money” which came out February 11th 2016. So far they plan to release singles back and forth since the beginning of their first project entitled UNTOLD which is a compilation to be released March 2016. DMG Released a couple of singles from the album Untold which are currently Enjoying airplay including Genii Blakk’s “Osamadeweza Hip Hop”, “Dats Dat Heat”, and the Groups single entitled “One Thing” which features Comrade, E Word, Genii Blakk And Reggea/Dancehall singer Sangie. The song “One Thing” is currently receiving massive props plus airplay. Both the songs Osamadeweza Hip Hop and Dats Dat Heat are still considered top Hip Hop songs up to date and the videos for Osamadeweza and One Thing are available for streaming on Youtube via Direct Muzik Group channel where you may as well find the team’s onscreen Cyphers shot by Ron CZ and VJ Ice. Looking at Malawi making us become who we are today and still continue to live our lives derived by much passion and fight for this here Art that has lived for many years, by carrying out the tradition, we focused on how we make the music people get to hear on their favorite radio and television stations.
