Don Tarz

Don Tarz, real name Pilirani Francis Nyanja is a member of a Lilongwe based dance hall group, LAKERS EMPIRE. Don Tarz started his  music career in the late 1990s in secondary school together with the Area 0 Crew. In December 2012, the crew recorded their first serious song ‘Lakers Time’ together with other members of Lakers Empire. More songs with the Empire were recorded in 2013 like ‘Tachoka’, ’Blackberry’ ,Kupupuluma’, ‘C Dem’ and many more. In September 2013, Don Tarz linked with Warge Records to record Zalero (ithyoke ithyoke riddim) followed by Kasupe wa Moyo (Kasupe riddim),At Capital Hill (Cashgate riddim) in October and Ndichani (Kaitana Kavula riddim) in November 2013.
