Biography

Cristal C is an original contemporary R&B singer/Songwriter and model. Her First ever Afro-pop release is now available for download.

Cristal C born on May the 21st 1989 in Lilongwe Malawi. This French starlet was raised in a musical family, began singing at the age of 9 with her older sisters and was always made main act at school shows and musicals, although her love for music developed way before she could even hold a mic.

Throughout and after college Cristal spent as much time as possible in recording studios. Although she later earned her Business Management and Fashion Design Degrees nothing could keep her away from musical performances.
Having gained inspiration she began doing alot of modelling and guest appearances in friends music videos while never losing sight of her dream to one day release her very own material.

Her family travelled much across Africa every three years as her dad’s work involved alot of relocating. Travelling was inevitable and quickly became an enjoyable major part of her life. Other places she spent most of her holidays are mainly France, the Uk, U.S.A, South Africa and Malawi.

Whilst in kenya in 2005 she met many interesting Kenyan rising Stars and was asked to feature in Maleek`s debut album karanite forever on his track called ahadi (Sorry).
Cristal C was thereafter offered a contract to tour china with Dzukani Band from Malawi in 2008 for 6 months.
Upon her return to malawi from China in 2009 Cristal was made part of the 265 Soundcrew as one of the vocalists for a short while before finally deciding to come back to the Uk to work on her own music on a personal and more serious level.

On her return to the Uk in March 2010 she was introduced to Dancehall ambassador Jusa dementor who in turn introduced her to ABRA recs.
Cristal and Jusa work closely on her album and releases as the main executive producer and although she is an ardent lover of R&B, she never fails to drift into electro-pop, Dance and Reggae genres whenever there is an opportunity to do so.

Her official Uk debut is to be released later this year.
In the mean time Cristal C`s First ever Afro-pop release “Charm” makes headlines across the continent with the stars sole wish to be one day heard by the entire World.

Cristal C`s music brings a continuous burst of superbly magnetizing notes streamed with deeply felt lyrics through her real life experiences in a never ending aim to touch and reach her fans worldwide.
