Being Benj real name Benjame Defrancois-abi is an out of the box songwriter, poet and all round artist. His music is a fusion of dance-hall, reggae, hip-hop and afrobeat. The 22 year old’s journey in music started at the age of 16 as a rapper and choir singer at his high school. After a few years trying to pursue a career in music as a rapper he put it on hold to concentrate on other artistic ventures. Music was still a big part of his life, he continued to write for other people but eventually felt it was time to get back in the studio. He is back with a debut single ‘WYMGD (Whats Your Man Gon Do) ’ and a new feel that will be a game changer.
