Blantyre based Mada Ngoleka (born Madalitso Ngoleka on 09 June 1995) is a Malawian gospel singer, songwriter and guitarist signed to Nde'feyo Gospel (a sub-label ubder Nde'feyo Entertainment); born in Malawi but moved to the United Kingdom at the age of eight, where she was exposed to the indie genre of music.
Mada started reading music from an early age before she advanced her skills at Brampton Manor in London where she was doing her A- Levels, music being one of her subjects and the guitar her best instrument.
With focus and determination, Mada's passion grew at the Springs Of Life International Church in Essex where her mother was a pastor. Different styles of music as well as a strong presence in the church helped shape Mada as a singer as well as a person.
She recorded a five-song EP which included songs like "Chikondi", "Bright Side", "Consuming Fire", "Change" and "70 Times 7".
Commentators have described her music as "refreshing" and "truly international" and with her debut album in the pipeline under Ndefeyo Gospel, Mada has set her hopes and dreams high and believes her music is the ultimate way to spread out God's words to the nation.
On the local scene, Mada admires Grace Chinga and the Ndirande Anglican Voices while on the international level she settles for Nicole C Mullen, Jamie Grace and KB from 116 Clique as idols.
