Gerty is an up-and-coming Afro artist from Blantyre, Bangwe, Malawi. Her real name is Gertrude Kashoti, and she was born on October 10, 1996. Gerty began composing music at a young age but decided to take it seriously in 2020. Since then, she has released several songs, with most of them being gospel tracks. Some of her recent works include "Zaine," produced by Stafa Awosh, "Posamira," produced by Limbani Chibwana, and "Ndiyankheni," produced by Yuze Uganda, among others.
Gerty has not collaborated with any other artists yet but is open to the idea in the future. Her music is available for streaming and download on Malawi-music.com.
